The early May Bank Holiday sees the return of the Lechlade Duck Race after a hugely successful first event last year.
The inaugural 2014 Lechlade Duck Race exceeded all expectations, attracting more than 5,000 spectators and raising £16,500 for charity.
Organiser Alisdair Hedworth said: “We had planned for about 2,000 people and in the end we were completely overrun, but in a good way.”

Four-time Olympic rowing gold medallist Sir Matthew Pinsent CBE started the countdown to last year’s race and this year there promises to be another very well known character on the ‘starting gun’.
The 2015 event will be held on Monday, May 4, on the banks of the River Thames at Riverside Park in Lechlade, GL7 3AQ.
The day runs from 10am to 5pm with the race itself taking place in the afternoon where 6,000 plastic ducks will race down a stretch of the river.
The day will also feature funfair rides, inflatables, go karts, a mobile farm, a falconry show, a dog show, and more than 30 local traders with stalls, and food and drink stalls.
The fastest 20 ducks all receive a fantastic family-orientated prize, which will be presented by the VIP after the race.
It only costs £2 to race a duck and you can even pre-sponsor your duck online to avoid the queues at www.lechladeduckrace.co.uk.
