Tories retain control of Cotswold District Council

The Conservatives remain in control of Cotswold District Council following Thursday’s council elections.
The final tally shows that the Conservative group holds 24 seats and the Liberal Democrat group holds 10 seats.

There are now only 34 seats in the district – 30 single member wards and 2 two member wards – following a reduction from 44 seats in line with a recent electoral review carried out by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England.
