It is launching in the Cotswolds on Saturday, June 6, at Great Barrington Village Hall, near Burford, from 10am to 5pm.
Children’s fashion and lifestyle products will be on sale from independent shops, brands and designers, as well as yummy food and drink.
There will be a pop up photobooth with renowned children’s photographer Sonya Hurtado and a chance to be spotted by a model scout from children’s model agency Superarts.
There will also be fun children’s activities and the first 50 children to arrive will get a free goody bag.
KidsArcade is the brainchild of Rachel Bisiker and Fran Lee who realised that there are a vast array of fantastic brands, shops and designers whom when you live outside of London you are simply not aware of.
“Whilst I love online shopping, the frustration at not really knowing what you are getting in terms of quality and sizing meant that I was always sticking to brands and designers that I knew and trusted,” said Rachel, who is based in the Cotswolds.
“I soon realised that many other friends outside of London felt the same way and were keen to find gorgeous clothes and products for their kids without trawling the net or wandering around their local town looking for something different.
“KidsArcade brings brands to life, making them tangible again for the consumer and fills a gap where your local independent retailer used to be. It is an opportunity to find something new – right on your doorstep!”
The event will feature brands like Olivier Baby & Child, Raspberry Plum, Barbeline, Five Boys Clothing and Four Fairies and a Prince, to name but a few.
Sponsored by independent Cotswolds residential sales and lettings agency Penny & Sinclair and The Cotswold Montessori, the event will support local charity The Art Room.
“We really want to immerse ourselves in the community wherever we pop up working with local businesses whilst championing the childrenswear industry as a whole,” said Fran.
