The association is based in Stroud and chief instructor Sensei Nick Quilliam Renshi 7th Dan has been training, competing in and teaching traditional Wado-Ryu Karate-Do since 1969.  The WKA has a number of classes for both adults and children in various locations throughout Gloucestershire, with clubs in Stroud, Bussage, Eastington, Stonehouse, Gloucester and Nailsworth.
