Chipping Norton Railway Club
Chipping Norton Railway Club was founded in 1974 by local enthusiasts John Brice and John Dyer, who remain members to this day.
Despite the fact that Chipping Norton is only a small town and lost its rail connection in 1964, the club has continued to attract enthusiasts from around Oxfordshire to its monthly meetings.
The club meets on the first Tuesday of the month in the Town Hall, Market Place, Chipping Norton. Meetings start at 7.30pm and finish around 9.30-10pm. Free coffee and tea are available during the interval. Non-members are welcome to attend on payment of a visitors fee of £2.
The club organises two coach trips a year
