Cirencester Bowls Club

We are one of the larger clubs in Gloucestershire with a current playing membership of 65 men, 36 ladies and two juniors, together with a further 46 social members.

The club was founded in 1930 and the clubhouse and green have been progressively improved over the years. There is an extensive programme of men’s, ladies and mixed friendly matches against other clubs, as well as many club competitions. The club also enters teams in several national and county competitions and leagues.

In addition to the summer outdoor bowls season, there is a thriving indoor bowls section which meets in the clubhouse every morning, afternoon and evening during the winter months. Some 80 members play indoors, taking part in leagues and knockout competitions.

New members are always welcome and we offer a comprehensive programme of coaching for both new bowlers and those who wish to brush up their skills.
