Sian Jocelyn, visitor services manager at the castle, said: “We were thrilled to host The Great Chelsea Garden Challenge here at Sudeley. Given our reputation for gardening excellence and the dramatic 15th Century castle, we provided the perfect backdrop to the show.
“The new designs complement our existing gardens wonderfully, and we expect to see a number of new visitors who are keen to view the formal gardens.”
Eminent landscape designers including Lanning Roper, Rosemary Verey, Jane Fearnley-Whittingstall, Charles Chesshire and, more recently, Sir Roddy Llewellyn have all been involved in the design and layout of the gardens at Sudeley Castle.
