A short statement on the show’s website said: “It is with regret that, following the Prime Minister’s announcement, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone ‘The Cotswold Show’ for a few weeks. All tickets already bought will remain valid.”
People are asked to follow the show’s website www.cotswoldshow.co.uk and social media channels for the latest updates.
This year’s show had promised everything from dancing sheep to BMX stunt riders performing at cloud grazing heights.
After last year’s cancellation – only the second in the show’s 32-year history – organisers promised to bring back the excitement with the return of the buzzing main arenas, filled with show-stopping attractions once more.
Let’s hope the show can indeed go ahead in August and everyone has a great weekend.
